Keep It Going Like It Does…

Yes, I am writing directly on Tuesday and was absent on Sunday. I was not really well. And despite writing or some other hobby being your one of the most favorite ones, you try not to skip it at any cost, but this is what life is, you can't always go with the flow. Now, this might contradict with the title for today's blog, but that's for a different purpose. See, we all are humans, we all get sick, we all become uninterested even in our favorite tasks at times.

But, as I said, sometimes letting it go and taking a break is a must.

Now, starting with a question on what does this title means is that we all must keep our projects, and difficult tasks or habits that could be beneficial in the long term to go on without focusing on how difficult they are.

Connecting my own story, I must say that now that I have completed the first manuscript of my book and am in the editing phase right now. I must be proud of myself that I actually completed the manuscript. The editing phase is a bit difficult but why?

I must share some of my learning as....

~ It takes time!

~ It isn’t easy, if you think that you just have to decide your topic and begin writing, you are wrong… everything must be structured, and to the point!

~ Your thoughts just roam here and there!- just after one starts writing, they will slowly get out of ideas, words , and there might be many who don’t get into this trap but it really happens!

~ You get the best ideas, thoughts, or maybe dialogues etc in the most unexpected places... Yes, be it in the bathroom, while cooking, or maybe while you are not home!

~ Be prepared for criticism, even from parents, as I was scolded for what I am doing beside my studies, and one should stay away from those who don’t care and are a hindrance! Yes you can't be away from your parents, but can be in your own isolation along this...

~ Be ready for your own negative emotions, while reading your manuscript, or even while writing it, at times you feel to quit, but its the determination, and maybe a dream to write a book or do some task…!

~ Editing feels annoying- when you find many grammatical mistakes and even when you have to rewrite some unknowingly incomplete statements, it feels frustrating to re-read and then write it again or so... unless you write flawlessly!

I hope these learning could also give a general idea on the same! I had also shared these learning on my LinkedIn, but as usual, its not a very common platform for all...

Writing too, sometimes feels like a big WHY, but truly, it can become something superb!
