Starting this Blog Site once again wasn't easy. Planning for the soon coming Magazine, and even thinking about it also wasn't easy! All of it made me doubt, not that others would say some or the other thing, but with the thought that will it really work that long?
Hey reader, nothing is easy! Its not just the hardwork that is required to build or achieve something, but the mental preparedness too. We can't start a business on AI Agents if we don't even know how AI Models work!
Yesterday, I started reading this book—Do it Today, by Darius Foroux. I read the Introduction part and I was thinking about the fact that while we delay tasks, be it paying the bills or watering the plants, this might be the literal meaning of not giving 100%. You see, the regret of not achieving, of losing that one mark in the exam, or that one client in business, although has a huge difference in importance, separately, but still becomes the reason for a short term failure.
Today is Tuesday, right? The day I have to write the blog that you are reading, which doesn't take so long in writing but is fueled with my time spent in thinking about it. I know that I have to revise a chapter today, but now let's take care of commitments. I had committed on the Site, and previous two blogs that I will be posting every Tuesday, so how could I not spend that time thinking if it is really required to write this!
You see, if you have committed to something, you then must do it. The regret of not doing is always bigger than the regret of not doing right or failing... Like the way you commit to your friends about that evening plan of going out, then just go and commit to yourself for that one lecture, that one business idea... that one hardwork!
I know, what I am writing currently, while sitting in a quiet environment with the sound of this light drizzle tapping the shade above my room's window, in the city nearest to the Mountains. My words, travelling across multiple topics. But yes, maybe that's the fun part.
You know what, recently, I was doubting my actions, what am I doing recently, what should I really do?... but, this isn’t just my case I guess, there are many others out there, trying to do something off the generational cycle, trying to take the road less travelled…
I am also trying to do something off the track, or I must say the trap. It isn't easy you know. Every other day, hearing from your father about IIT, even though he know that I am not really ready for it and am going for something off the track, be it studying abroad, or something else... See, there was this moment when I tried to hide and be alone while watching lectures etc just to not get involved in talked related to studies... but you have to fight, not really, but truly make them understand your part, and not hide you know.
If you have the self-belief that you can do something better to break your family chain of engineers or doctors, and become far more successful, you must do it then.
Listen, let’s move on, let’s kill the doubt and seriously do it… again, this is what I wrote on LinkedIn too this morning... but let's up friend...
Sitting on that couch, reading this blog won't help. Wait, I mean sit on the chair work hard, and read my blogs there only...
There is this quote I read today, what it says is, “Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, just remember how far you have come. Remember everything you have faced, all the battles you have won, and all the fears you have overcome.”— by Unknown
Write this quote in front of your workspace, its our life, our journey, multiple unexpected self-doubts will come and go, read it every time. And let’s remember where we are, and remind ourselves that we still really have a long way to go…
This blog might have gone a bit philosophical or maybe more of motivational.
But, you know, let's just live every moment, even with this unexpectedness!
Thank You for your time... I hope my rambling words could make a difference...
