Be Calm...

So, here I am. Back with another blog post. Again I'm late with this post, as I had some important work. I really couldn't write on Tuesday as my devices weren't working. But today's post is a bit different.
It's about noticing stuff.
See, we all know that we have 24 hours in a day. Now, it depends on how we spend them. 24 hours can never go smoothly throughout their duration. But they can actually completely off track and not feel so good. So, this is what happened to me the other day.
Those 24 hours, were a lot different than usual. But, let's not talk about what happened. I just can't share over here. But let's talk about what can we do if our day goes crazy sometimes.
We can actually do a lot to neutralize things, but we really don’t. Hey, we can actually write. Writing stuff down can reduce their negative effect. If you are sad, write in your diary or notebook on why you are sad, if someone said or did something or whatever.
But, here is what I noticed. Someone told me to be calm and it felt like the one is talking like a therapist. That one person told me to be chill, and that it's okay on how I was panicked for some pending work and so.
So, as I try to do some sort of mixed journaling and diary entry all together, every day. I wrote down the same sentence in my diary before ending the day's entry.
I wrote it with my fountain pen. I don’t know why, but I write things I like or feel are meaningful, with the fountain. I write such points with the fountain. We all know that when we use a fountain pen, we use it slowly. We write smoothly, while always trying to write in the best possible handwriting. It becomes cursive and sort of calligraphy-styled handwriting.
I wrote the sentence this way: "Hey, Harshit, just calm down. Be calm, think effectively, and proceed slowly, smoothly, while being as calm as this fountain pen."
So, hey, if you can spend time writing your best parts in a calm and smooth way. Can’t you live your life the same way? I learned this fact that very day, and it changed a lot of my perspectives. I haven't panicked for stuff since then. I'm calm, chill, and doing stuff smoothly and within time.
Thinking with mindfulness is also a factor in it... But what about noticing—what was it I wanted to say about it?
Yes, the way I noticed such a small thing and it made a huge difference, Can’t we always be calm and improve our art of noticing by having a constant urge to learn? By having the will to understand, and move further with calm and mindful thinking.
I hope you got something valuable from this blog. And please do tell in the comments what you learned from this, or if you had any such experience.
Let's meet in the Tuesday blog... also please do comment if you have any blog suggestions on specific topics.
Loved the therapist part!!!!!
